Community Outreach Coordinator

**About Thanet District Council**
">We are a local authority committed to delivering high-quality services to our residents. We are currently undertaking a £30+ million refurbishment and retrofit project for our tower blocks, which will improve safety, energy efficiency, and the environment for 406 households.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Resident Liaison Officer. You will be responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with residents affected by the project, ensuring effective communication channels are established and maintained.
As a successful candidate, you will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and empathise with a diverse range of residents. Strong interpersonal skills will enable effective collaboration and relationship building with residents, colleagues, and external partners.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- To act as the primary point of contact for residents affected by the project
- To build and maintain positive relationships with residents through regular communication and updates
- To work closely with colleagues and external partners to ensure effective delivery of the project
**Requirements:**
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
**What We Offer:**
A competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional development.
