About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our team in Wigan. As an Accounts Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the finance department, ensuring accurate records, and maintaining smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming cheques and update the invoice log with payments.
  • Regularly archive completed files, maintain the archive log, and update the case management system.
  • Assist with managing credit card expenditure, collate receipts, and record payments onto SAGE.
  • Review Estate Accounts for accuracy and compliance with beneficiaries agreements.
  • Undertake additional duties as required, including ad-hoc jobs for the MD/Head of Department.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an accounts assistant or similar role.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
  • Familiarity with SAGE 50 accounting system.
  • Accountancy qualification (AAT L2 minimum) desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
