Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support in Year 4 at a school in Garstang. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing encouragement and support to students during core foundation subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons and activities tailored to the needs of Key Stage 2 students.
- Provide support with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.
- Help create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant experience working with children, preferably within a school setting.
- Knowledge of the KS2 Curriculum and methods to support this.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare (desirable but not essential).
