Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Permit Officer at CRA GROUP LIMITED. As a key member of our Permit Scheme team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of traffic in accordance with the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 and Traffic Management Act 2004.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and process permit applications accurately and efficiently within agreed timescales and in line with Statutory Guidance and National Conditions.
• Coordinate permits and work collaboratively with Street Works Officers to resolve conflicts, refusals, or variation requests.
• Maintain precise and accurate records in line with permit procedures, NRSWA, and TMA legislation.
• Assist in managing fees, fines, charges, and FPNs, ensuring they are managed in line with New Roads and Street Works Act, Traffic Management Act, and associated Statutory Guidance and Codes of Practices.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
• Knowledge of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Traffic Management Act 2004, and Statutory Guidance and National Conditions for Permit Schemes.
• Experience of using computerized street works database systems to analyze and input street works notices/permits.
• Significant experience of using computerized mapping systems.
