Senior Clinical Psychologist and Borough Therapy Lead

Job Summary
The post holder will provide a highly specialised clinical psychology service to Hillingdon CAMHS. As Borough Therapy Lead, the post holder will be part of the local Senior Management Team (SMT), working closely with Service Manager, Team Manager and Clinical Lead (Psychiatry) and actively lead the service line Care Quality and Performance Group (CQPMG) agenda.
Main Duties of the Job
Working within a highly specialised clinical area, the post holder will provide highly developed specialist psychological assessments of clients based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex data from a variety of sources including psychological (and neuropsychological) tests, self-report measures, rating scales direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with clients, family members and others involved in the client's care.
The post holder will also provide training to staff, supervision for multi-disciplinary staff, and advise the Team Manager of the levels and limits of competency of individual staff. Additionally, the post holder will take a lead, as a senior clinician, to planning and implementing systems for the evaluation, monitoring and development of the service/sector's services, through the deployment of professional skills in research, service evaluation and audit and ensuring incorporation of psychological frameworks for understanding and provision of high quality care.
About Us
CNWL CAMHS offers community services across five London Boroughs, with two inpatient units and a specialist CYP Eating Disorders Service. The post holder will be expected to support the development of all therapy staff in Hillingdon CAMHS and contribute to the continuous improvement of services, ensuring clinicians are encouraged to work in a participatory way so that shared decision making and conversations around formulation/diagnosis and ongoing care are a collaborative endeavour with the people who access our service.
