About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Support Practitioner to join our team in Tranent. As a Support Practitioner, you will work with adults with a variety of needs, including learning disabilities, dementia, autism, mental health, and physical disabilities. You will assist service users with all aspects of their daily lives, including planning for their future and preventing the effects of social isolation and loneliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist service users with daily living tasks, such as personal care and medication management
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each service user
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide emotional support and companionship to service users
- Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in care or a related field
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Able to reliably commute to Tranent
- Willingness to learn and develop your career
- Caring and compassionate with a genuine interest in helping people

- 45p paid per mile for any driving done while at work
