We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join our team at SimWest Recruitment Solutions Ltd.

Role Overview

As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of high-speed production and packaging equipment. Your electrical bias will be a valuable asset in this role, allowing you to conduct planned preventative maintenance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure the long-term reliability of all equipment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • New Machinery Installation: Assist in the installation of new, cutting-edge machinery and equipment.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary between £45,000 - £48,000 per annum, plus overtime and bonuses.

Requirements

  • Electrically biased with a solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the FMCG sector.
  • PLC skills, including fault finding.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
