**About the Role**

As a Senior Electrical Engineering Expert - Critical Systems at Ramboll, you will be responsible for providing electrical design expertise to our UK-wide Critical Systems Team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing your own project work and meeting deadlines;
  • Providing detailed design of electrical distribution at MV and LV, including application of renewable technologies such as battery energy storage, hydrogen, and wind power;
  • Designing rail power delivery solutions for Network Rail and TfL;
  • Developing power generation and control systems;
  • Creating detailed designs of electrical installations for special locations;
  • Utilizing specialist software such as ETAP, Paladin, and Trimble.

**Your Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A CIBSE/IET Engineering Council accredited honors degree or an HNC in an applicable discipline with a commitment to continue with higher education;
  • An understanding of financial arrangements for projects, including fee forecasting, preparation, and allocation;
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Forward-thinking and a passion for digital design innovation and 'smart design' in an increasingly digitalized construction arena;
  • Ideal experience across different sectors, including Building Services Design, Site surveys & inspections, Snagging, Client & design team meetings.
