About the Role


We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Administration Coordinator to join our team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.


As an Administration Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the Dermatology Team, ensuring that patient pathways are maximised, and deadlines are met. You will have a degree of autonomy to manage your workload effectively and take a proactive approach to day-to-day management.


The postholder will be responsible for escalating and troubleshooting issues to the Dermatology Administration Team Leader and will contribute to finding solutions to routine problems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to be successful in this role.

Your Responsibilities


This role involves:


  • Managing patient pathways and ensuring deadlines are met;
  • Escalating and troubleshooting issues to the Dermatology Administration Team Leader;
  • Contributing to finding solutions to routine problems;
  • Acting as the first point of contact (in phone and email) in communication with patients, relatives, and GPs; and
  • Working closely with all members of the administrative and clinical teams, including medical staff, allied health professionals, and support workers.
