A leading Materials Testing and Inspection company is seeking a Construction Materials Quality Control Lead to manage their specialist team in the South East.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in managing a physical testing laboratory and have expertise in construction materials testing such as concrete, aggregates and stone.

The salary range for this role is approximately £65,000 - £85,000 per annum depending on experience.

Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are pleased to be working with a leading Materials Testing and Inspection company who are looking for a Construction Materials Quality Control Lead for their site in the South East.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a specialist team in the laboratory.
  2. Manage all construction materials testing covering aggregates, asphalt or concrete.
  3. Design and develop testing procedures.
  4. Troubleshoot testing methods and oversee maintenance of equipment.
  5. Ensure all work is carried out to the relevant quality standards and maintain the QMS.
  6. Manage all projects from conception/ proposal through to completion.

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience in managing a physical testing laboratory.
  • Specialist knowledge of construction materials testing.
