We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Business Associate Tutor to join our team at HMP High Down. As a Business Associate Tutor, you will play a crucial role in helping our learners develop their business acumen and gain further skills in how to successfully set up and run a business.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and effective lessons, tailoring your teaching to meet the needs of each individual learner.
- Develop and work towards Level 5 Certificate in Education.
- Develop and work towards subject specialism in Maths or English.
- Aspire to develop in the role as a Maths or English Teacher.
- Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
- Gain/hold and maintain a clean, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Enthusiasm and commitment to a career in teaching.
- A teaching qualification OR subject specialist qualification at Level 4 (Level 5 - new standards) with a commitment to obtain the relevant outstanding Level 4 (Level 5 - new standards) qualification within a specified time scale.
- Extensive annual leave which can be taken throughout the year and not restricted to school holiday times.
- Monday to Friday working pattern.
- Our in-house 'Evolve' training programme, which offers you the chance to upskill and further your career through a wide range of recognised qualifications.
