We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Business Tutor to join our team at HMP Thameside. As a Business Tutor, you will play a crucial role in helping our learners develop their business acumen and gain further skills in how to successfully set up and run a business.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver high-quality lessons in how to run your own business.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Assess learner needs and develop individualized learning plans.
- Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Support learners in achieving their SFEDI qualifications.
- Teach the SFEDI business course.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for all learners.
- Stay up to date with curriculum changes and best practices in education.
- A teaching qualification or subject specialist qualification at Level 4 with a commitment to obtain the relevant outstanding Level 4 qualification within a specified time scale.
- Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
- Track record of effective teaching in subject specialism.
- Gain/hold and maintain a clean, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
