Job Description

We are currently seeking a Transport Operations Manager to join our logistics team at Frontier Agriculture Limited. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of bulk grain across various locations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in transport operations, with a proven track record of improving efficiency and reducing costs. You will be responsible for managing our national bulk fleet team, ensuring that all logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently.

About the Role

  • Manage and coordinate logistics operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve logistical efficiencies and reduce costs.
  • Work closely with our forwarding and logistics teams to ensure seamless contract execution, collection, and delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with farmers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of logistics activities.

What You Will Need

  • Extensive experience in transport operations, preferably in the agriculture or logistics industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Valid UK driving licence.

Salary & Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a range of benefits, including 25 days' holiday, flexible working hours, and opportunities for professional development.
