Employment Support Specialist

As an Employment Advisor at Maximus UK, you will play a vital role in helping individuals overcome barriers to employment and achieve their career goals. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing personalized support to customers, empowering them to secure and sustain employment.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Support: Manage a caseload of customers, using coaching strategies to prepare them for interviews and job searching.
- Assessment and Planning: Conduct in-depth assessments to understand customers' circumstances, preferences, and barriers to progression, and co-produce personalized SMART action plans.
- Recruitment and Placement: Identify employer recruitment needs, undertake pre-screens and group assessments, and co-produce effective in-work support plans.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in activities to ensure the service delivers excellent customer service and complies with company policies.
- Customer Focus: Strong commitment to customer care and a positive, flexible approach to work and colleagues.
- Experience: Previous experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards.
- IT Literacy: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office 365 products and modern digital technologies.
- Communication: Strong communicator with the ability to listen, question, and build relationships.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrable creative problem-solving skills and a positive approach to overcoming barriers.
