SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are collaborating with a primary school in Finchley to find a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. As a passionate and experienced professional, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to special needs pupils, promoting their social, academic, and emotional growth.
  • Assist with classroom management, creating a positive and safe learning environment.
  • Encourage student participation and engagement in classroom activities.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young children, especially in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Willingness to collaborate with teachers and support staff.
