Job Title: Project Rail Engineer

We are working with a leading engineering and project management consultancy based in Canary Wharf, London. As a Project Rail Engineer, you will be involved in the design, engineering, and project management of rail infrastructure projects in the UK. You will assist in planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects within your area of expertise. Your role will also involve representing the team at client-facing meetings with confidence and credibility.

About the Role:
You will work closely and directly with external/client staff, key stakeholders, and the internal team to deliver successful projects. Key responsibilities include:
• Preparing technical specifications and documents for bidding and construction
• Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, standards, and specifications
• Communicating with the project manager and wider team to provide assistance and technical support

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Engineering (Bsc, MSc, or MEng) and at least 3+ years of professional experience in engineering design/design management on transportation, water, and/or land development projects. You will also have experience in the rail industry. An estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. This salary estimate takes into account the UK location and the level of expertise required.
