Maintenance Engineer Apprentice

The Maintenance Engineer - Apprentice role is a hands-on position that requires a proactive and skilled individual to join our multi-skilled engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for minimizing downtime, fixing breakdowns, and ensuring production meets schedule.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first-line maintenance and breakdown support to ensure the site operates efficiently.
- Ensure the site adheres to GMP standards and maintain accurate records of maintenance and breakdowns.
- Collaborate with OEMs, suppliers, and contractors to handle permits and installations.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using engineering drawings, manuals, and systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, safety, and reduce waste.
- Completed a time-served engineering apprenticeship (minimum Level 3 qualification).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Experience with CMMS systems and electrical maintenance.
- Willingness to obtain Level 3 in Food Safety & HACCP.
