About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at the RSK Group in Oxford, UK. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of site workers and ensuring the successful delivery of highway improvement schemes across the south region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of site workers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring they are aligned with company objectives and meet client requirements.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure the health and safety of all personnel on site, adhering to company policies and industry standards.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality and safety inspections to ensure projects meet company standards.
  • Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractors and sub-contract labor, ensuring they meet company requirements.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and review the performance of site staff, including performance appraisals and disciplinary actions.
  • Travel: Travel when required to meet project needs.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in water industry projects, particularly in clean and waste water environments.
  • Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, NEC 3&4 Contract knowledge, health and safety expertise, leadership skills, and excellent communication skills.
  • Qualifications: Mandatory qualifications include CSCS, NVQ level 6 or 7, full UK driving license, first aid, EUSR National Water Hygiene (Blue card), and SMSTS.
