The successful candidate will have excellent planning and organisational skills, as well as the ability to manage their own workload and work on their own initiative.
- Assist in the day-to-day management of facilities, including maintenance and repairs;
- Support the Facilities Manager in ensuring that all works are completed to programme and quality standards;
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver excellent customer service;
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external contractors and suppliers;
- Contribute to the development and implementation of facilities management strategies and plans;
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and policies;
- Manage budgets and resources effectively;
- Provide administrative support to the Facilities Manager as required.
- GCSE/GCE qualifications in Maths and English;
- IOSH or other Health and Safety qualification (desirable);
- Excellent planning and organisational skills;
- Ability to manage own workload and work on own initiative;
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel & Power Point);
- A good understanding of managing external and client relationships;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Well-organised with excellent attention to detail/accuracy/prioritisation;
- The ability to work unsupervised.
