Registered Nurse Health Protection Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join the Health Protection Service (HPS) team. The HPS will work in partnership to respond to health protection measures and threats as required, with a focus on protecting and improving health and wellbeing in North Wales.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will work as part of the HPS team, either at their designated work base or as part of an agile, patient-facing, outreach team at any location within North Wales. Key responsibilities will include:
- Assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of evidenced-based nursing care
- Collaboration and cooperation with other healthcare professionals to meet the needs of patients and their families
- Management and organisation of their clinical area, including education, development, and supervision of other staff members
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking nurse to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development of the Health Protection Service. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, the ability to work autonomously, and a passion for delivering excellent services.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, the candidate will need to have:
- NMC registration
- Experience of providing holistic nursing care
- Interest in developing nursing skills
- Relevant experience of Health Protection
