About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Health Protection Service team. The successful candidate will work in partnership with other agencies to respond to health protection measures and threats as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate evidenced-based nursing care.
  • Work collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.
  • Assist in the management and organisation of the clinical area.
  • Participate in the education, development, and supervision of other staff members.

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is the largest health organisation in Wales, providing a full range of primary, community, mental health, acute, and elective hospital services for a population of around 700,000 across North Wales.

Requirements

  • NMC registered.
  • Experience of providing holistic nursing care.
  • Interest in developing nursing skills.
  • Relevant experience of Health Protection.

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

  • Clear understanding of clinical governance framework.
  • Implement evidence-based practice.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
