Plastering Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Plasterer to join our busy Property Repairs team.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out plastering maintenance work unsupervised, ensuring high standards and compliance with regulations.
- Apply and finish acoustic, insulating, and fireproofing materials bonded with plaster, plastic cement, and similar materials.
- Prepare, install, and finish plasterboard layouts, including levelling and straightening surfaces.
- Create decorative textures and finishes, ensuring a professional and uniform appearance.
- Perform additional minor maintenance tasks as required, contributing to a first-time fix whenever possible.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and communicate effectively with tenants and colleagues.
- Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies, reporting any unsafe practices or conditions.
- Relevant City & Guilds Part 1 & 2, NVQ2, or significant experience in plastering and related trades.
- Apprentice trained or at least 5 years of experience as a Plasterer.
- Knowledge of building regulations, health and safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Full manual UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service.
- Experience in rendering and the ability to carry out additional day-to-day maintenance tasks.
