About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Plastering Repairs Technician to join our Property Repairs team. As a Plastering Repairs Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out plastering and rendering maintenance in our tenanted properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out all plastering maintenance work unsupervised, ensuring high standards and compliance with regulations.
  • Apply and finish acoustic, insulating, and fireproofing materials bonded with plaster, plastic cement, and similar materials.
  • Prepare, install, and finish plasterboard layouts, including levelling and straightening surfaces.
  • Create decorative textures and finishes, ensuring a professional and uniform appearance.
  • Perform additional minor maintenance tasks as required, contributing to a first-time fix whenever possible.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and communicate effectively with tenants and colleagues.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies, reporting any unsafe practices or conditions.

Requirements:

  • Relevant City & Guilds Part 1 & 2, NVQ2, or significant experience in plastering and related trades.
  • Apprentice trained or at least 5 years of experience as a Plasterer.
  • Knowledge of building regulations, health and safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Full manual UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service.
  • Experience in rendering and the ability to carry out additional day-to-day maintenance tasks.
