Bathroom Installer/Fitter Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Bathroom Fitter to join our Planned Works team at Paradigm Housing Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install complete bathroom suites, including bath, WC, wash hand basin, decoration, tiling, flooring, and fitting accessories.
  • Work independently and unsupervised to a high standard in line with industry best practices and health and safety regulations.
  • Complete necessary documentation promptly and accurately as per company procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, ensuring they are informed and satisfied with the work being done.
  • Use materials and tools effectively, reducing waste and maintaining stock levels in the company van.
  • Comply with all health and safety legislation and Paradigm's policies, ensuring safe work environments.
  • Occasionally mentor/supervise less experienced team members.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: City & Guilds Part 1 & 2, NVQ2, or equivalent experience in bathroom fitting and general maintenance.
  • Experience: Apprentice-trained or significant experience as a Bathroom Fitter, with strong knowledge of building regulations and codes of practice.
  • Skills: Ability to carry out bathroom installations, communicating effectively with tenants, and demonstrate excellent customer service.
  • Driving Licence: A valid full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Teamwork: Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritise work effectively.
