Project Manager Asset Management Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager with experience in property and asset management to join our team. As a Housing and Assets Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing key projects and collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve high-impact results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the management and delivery of property-related projects, focusing on capital development and service improvement initiatives.
- Assist the Housing and Property department in defining project goals, assessing resource needs, identifying risks, outlining benefits, and setting clear project timelines.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of all project phases.
- Monitor project budgets, ensuring all expenditures are tracked and remain within financial limits.
- Provide regular progress updates, addressing any project deviations, risks, or issues, and proposing effective solutions.
- Manage refurbishments and property asset-related projects, ensuring clear definition of requirements, appropriate cost allocation, and fulfilment of internal and external reporting responsibilities.
- Capture and track the progress of various service improvement activities across the Housing Division, ensuring efficient resource allocation and sequencing.
- Identify potential project risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, continuously assessing the effectiveness of risk management plans.
- Develop and maintain systems for project documentation and tracking to ensure transparency and streamlined reporting.
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of property management and construction, including acquisition, development, planned maintenance, refurbishment, and disposals.
- A recognised qualification in Project Management or strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proven experience managing projects related to property and assets, particularly in areas of acquisition and development.
- Skilled in analysing performance data and taking action to drive project success.
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Working Arrangements
- 37 hours per week
- Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Hybrid working available
