About the Role

Southdown is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team and lead the delivery of our housing and asset management projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of projects, working across all aspects of specialist supported housing, including acquisitions, developments, and decarbonization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project manage acquisitions and developments, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Support the work to decarbonize our housing stock, identifying and implementing energy-efficient solutions
  • Oversee improvements in systems, building safety, and compliance, ensuring our housing services meet the highest standards
  • Develop and implement project plans, tracking progress, and identifying and mitigating risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including property, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless project delivery

Requirements:

  • Proven project management experience, with a focus on housing and asset management
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience in development and property acquisitions, with a strong understanding of the social housing sector
  • Ability to anticipate and track project resource, ensuring efficient coordination of project team members
