Data Entry Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team at Jade Recruitment. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for accurately entering and updating data into various systems and databases.
In this role, you will work closely with our team leads and department managers to ensure the integrity and completeness of our company's data records. Your strong typing skills, high accuracy, and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, will be essential in excelling in this position.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a data entry or administrative role and possess a strong understanding of database management principles. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately input and update data in various systems and databases
- Review data for accuracy and completeness, making corrections as needed
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical files as required for company data and documentation
- Assist with generating periodic data reports and summaries for team leads or department managers
Requirements:
- GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English; further qualifications in data handling or office administration are beneficial
- Previous experience in a data entry or administrative role is advantageous
- Strong typing skills with high accuracy
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Salary: £11.80 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 till 16:30 (40 hours per week)
