Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Restaurant Server to join our team at The Cherry Tree, a vibrant and welcoming pub in Rochford. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, ensuring seamless service, and contributing to the overall success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Greet and serve customers with a smile, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Manage Table Service: Efficiently manage table service, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and handling payments.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Ensure the dining area is clean, tidy, and safe for customers, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Work as Part of a Team: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve excellent service, supporting each other to deliver a seamless experience.
  • Upsell and Promote: Offer recommendations and promotions to customers, enhancing their experience and driving sales.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Teamwork and Flexibility: Demonstrate a willingness to work as part of a team, being flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the business.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of the job.
  • Knowledge of Food and Beverage: Have a good understanding of food and beverage products, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairing suggestions.
