Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Restaurant Server to join our team at The Cherry Tree, a vibrant and welcoming pub in Rochford. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, ensuring seamless service, and contributing to the overall success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Greet and serve customers with a smile, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Manage Table Service: Efficiently manage table service, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and handling payments.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Environment: Ensure the dining area, bar, and kitchen are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
  • Work Collaboratively as a Team: Communicate effectively with colleagues, providing support and assistance as needed to ensure seamless service.
  • Upsell and Promote: Offer recommendations and promotions to customers, increasing sales and enhancing the overall customer experience.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Teamwork and Flexibility: Demonstrate a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team, adapting to changing situations and priorities.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of service.
  • Basic Math Skills: Possess basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
