Contracts Engineer/Manager - Ground Engineering and Civils

We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Engineer/Manager to join our team at a reputable Ground Engineering and Civils contractor. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on site, ensuring each project is delivered to schedule, within budget, and in line with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct site meetings with on-site labour and management to ensure safe and timely operations.
  2. Produce accurate site records and progress reports, as well as generate forecasts and cost reports.
  3. Monitor health and safety on site, ensuring all works are conducted within the company's standards.
  4. Manage labour requirements on site, liaising with contractors and suppliers to ensure staffing and materials are maintained.
  5. Work alongside the pre-construction team to produce work-winning tenders and bids.
  6. Travel to different sites across the UK to meet site teams and inspect works.
Requirements:
  1. Degree in Construction or Ground Engineering related subject.
  2. Proven experience working in Piling.
  3. Full UK Clean Driving License.
  4. CSCS Card - desirable but not essential.
  5. Proven experience working as a Contracts Engineer or a similar role.
Benefits:
  1. Competitive Salary c.£35,000 - £55,000+ per annum depending on experience.
