Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Manager to join our team at Rawcliffe Parish Council. As the chief officer and principal adviser, you will play a key role in helping our councillors address current challenges and drive future growth.

The successful candidate will have significant managerial experience, ideally within local government, and be able to demonstrate expertise in policy formation, resource management, and staff supervision.

A competitive salary of £16.67 per hour (£28,951 per annum) is offered for this part-time position (14 hours per week), with opportunities for flexible working arrangements and hybrid remote work from Goole, East Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the council, including maintaining accurate records and managing resources effectively.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with councillors, staff, and external stakeholders to achieve council goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • GCSE or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject area (preferred).
  • At least 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in a local government setting.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • A valid driving license and ability to travel as required.
