Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Strategy & Governance Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will engage with clients daily, working to understand their challenges and deliver solutions. You will be based from one of our regional offices or on client site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data strategies and governance frameworks for clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their data challenges and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Work closely with our team to ensure seamless delivery of projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in data management and analytics.

Requirements

  • Multi-skilled experience in data strategy and governance, including data policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Ability to deliver data strategy and governance tasks as part of a wider framework.
  • Experience with data quality rules and reporting.
  • Experience with data strategy and governance tools such as Purview, Informatica, Collibra, and Snowflake.
  • Strong technical skills in SQL and relational databases, as well as NoSQL databases and cloud-based data platforms.
  • Technical business analysis experience.
  • Proactive awareness of industry standards, regulations, and developments.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Financial services sector experience.
  • Line management experience.
  • Team building and leadership experience.
  • Mentoring/employee development experience.
