About The Role

Delivering Excellence in Project Management

M Group Services is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Colchester. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enabling projects to be delivered on time, within budget, and to the required specifications.

You will support the Delivery/Operational Manager in managing MEICA Projects, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and effectively. Your responsibilities will include capturing asset changes, raising Early Warning Notices and Change Requests, and analyzing risks to ensure the optimum TOTEX solution.

In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with operational Health & Safety requirements, completing and maintaining personal H&S & MTRA, and recording near misses through good catch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Delivery/Operational Manager in managing MEICA Projects
  • Capture asset changes and raise Early Warning Notices and Change Requests
  • Analyze risks to ensure the optimum TOTEX solution
  • Ensure compliance with operational Health & Safety requirements
  • Complete and maintain personal H&S & MTRA
  • Record near misses through good catch

Requirements:

  • Knowledgeable in planning and resource scheduling
  • Hold an appropriate professional engineering qualification
  • Demonstrate excellent customer management and external stakeholder management skills
  • Strong negotiator
  • Basic understanding of the regulatory processes that govern AW's IOS Initiative
  • Previous Project Management experience
  • Strong cost and risk-based analysis skills
  • Experience working in an operational water setting
