About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Civil Supervisor to join our team at Anglian Water's @one Alliance. As a key member of our site leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our teams towards safety, quality, and project targets on a consistent basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure work carried out meets @one alliance and statutory legal requirements via site inspections, reviewing method statements and risk assessments, and delivering toolbox talks.
  • Ensure site personnel have relevant training and plant equipment/machinery are in good working order with in-date certificates.
  • Communicate with site team members on upcoming activities to ensure all requirements are met, minimizing any delays to production.
  • Oversee temporary works, ensuring work is installed as per design and Site Manager kept updated accordingly.
  • Encourage and promote near miss reporting, ensuring close outs delivered and fed back to site manager and operatives.
  • Champion a 'Get it right first time' mentality, checking quality of finished products delivered by teams, ensuring product is completed to a high standard.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and supervise the daily activities of gangs/site operatives.
  • Order and manage hired internal and external equipment to optimize performance and reduce costs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will hold a CSCS Supervisor card and a CITB SMSTS/SSSTS qualification, complemented by your construction site leadership qualities. You will be focused on Health & Safety, holding a First Aid at Work qualification, and aware of our environment and challenges facing our operations. You will also be HSG47 trained in Service Avoidance techniques and have completed a SEATS course.
