Site Civil Supervisor

Binnies, an RSK Group Company, is seeking a Site Civil Supervisor to join our @one Alliance team.

As a Site Civil Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects by leading our teams towards safety, quality, and project targets. You will be responsible for communicating key messages to site operatives, providing transparency and integrity, and ensuring that our teams have the necessary training and resources to excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all work carried out meets @one alliance and statutory legal requirements through site inspections, method statement reviews, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.

  • Verify that site personnel have relevant training and that plant equipment/machinery are in good working order with up-to-date certificates.

  • Communicate with site team members on upcoming activities to ensure all requirements are met, minimizing delays to production.

  • Oversee temporary works to ensure they are installed as per design and keep the Site Manager updated accordingly.

  • Encourage and promote near miss reporting, ensuring close outs are delivered and fed back to the site manager and operatives.

  • Champion a 'Get it right first time' mentality, checking the quality of finished products delivered by teams to ensure they meet high standards.

  • Schedule, coordinate, and supervise the daily activities of gangs/site operatives.

  • Order and manage hired internal and external equipment to optimize performance and reduce costs.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will hold a CSCS Supervisor card and a CITB SMSTS/SSSTS qualification. You will also have construction site leadership qualities, a focus on Health & Safety, and a First Aid at Work qualification. Additionally, you will be aware of our environment and challenges facing our operations and have completed a SEATS course.
