We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Breakfast Chef to join our team at the Holiday Inn Bristol - Filton. As a Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes to a high standard and ensuring that all food is presented in an appealing and appetizing manner.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook breakfast dishes, including eggs, bacon, sausages, toast, pastries, and other breakfast items to a high standard.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained and cleaned to a high standard.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the ordering and management of kitchen supplies and inventory.
- Food Safety and Hygiene: Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other members of the kitchen team to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
- Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and tidy work area at all times.
- Training and Development: Assist in the training of junior kitchen staff as required.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience working as a Breakfast Chef or similar role.
- Passion for Food: A strong passion for food and a creative approach to cooking.
- Knowledge of Food Safety: Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to Work Under Pressure: The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive Attitude: A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
