  • Process weekly and monthly payrolls, including starters, leavers, personal changes, holiday pay, statutory payments, and BACS payments via payroll software.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and provide high-quality service to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the existing Payroll team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation and regulations to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in payroll within a professional practice environment.
  • Knowledge of RTI, Auto Enrolment, and payrolling of benefits is essential.
  • Ability to understand and break down payslips and re-perform tax calculations manually.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working in a finance role, preferably in a practice background or with international experience.
  • Self-starter with the ability to take ownership of clients and projects.
  • Highly organized and able to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent client service and communication skills.
  • Understanding of internal controls and Sarbanes Oxley compliance is an advantage.
