Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our nursing leadership team as a Band 7 Lead Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care to children and young people with additional needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the nursing team in the development and implementation of clinical pathways and interventions.
  • Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate patient-centered programs of care, ensuring that practice is grounded in evidence-based theoretical and practical knowledge.
  • Develop and maintain professional standards and competencies within the defined clinical area.
  • Work collaboratively with other services to improve care delivery and make innovative changes.
Requirements
  • Experience in community care provision for children with additional needs and their families.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and support others through change and service development.
  • Knowledge of clinical systems, including SystmOne and Datix.
