Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our nursing leadership team as a Band 7 Lead Nurse. The successful candidate will have a strong background in community nursing and a passion for leadership and teamwork.

About the Role

The Integrated Children with Additional Needs (ICAN) service is a dynamic and forward-thinking team that provides community-based health services across Leeds. As a Band 7 Lead Nurse, you will be responsible for leading our nursing team, developing new and innovative clinical practices, and contributing to the delivery of our Children's Business Unit's strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the nursing team and develop new clinical practices
  • Contribute to the delivery of our Children's Business Unit's strategy
  • Develop and maintain professional standards and competencies within the clinical area
  • Work collaboratively with other services to improve patient care
Person Specification

We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Registered Nurse with:

  • Experience in community nursing and leadership
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • Ability to motivate and support others through change and service development
  • Experience in triage of referrals and clinical decision making
  • Knowledge of clinical systems, including SystmOne and Datix
