Treasury Settlement Officer Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Settlement Officer to join our team in Central London. As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for daily preparation and journal booking of treasury functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Reconcile daily bank statements and book payments, receivables, loans, and cash movements in SAP.
  2. Produce company payment documents and bank notices in SAP.
  3. Verify payment details, ensure compliance with SSI records, and prevent duplicate payments.
  4. Record daily FX transactions, update FX sheets, and produce payment documents accordingly.
  5. Monitor inwards and outwards payments/receipts with banks and ensure daily closing balances align with policy requirements.
  6. Investigate and report variances to line managers for monthly bank statements and SAP cash balances.
  7. Conduct ad-hoc treasury analysis and quarterly SOX testing.
  8. Perform other duties as reasonably assigned, including back-up for the Treasury Officer role.

Requirements:

  1. Degree-level education or equivalent qualification.
  2. Accounting profession qualification desirable (e.g., ACCA or ACA, CIMA).
  3. Mandarin to native level, with fluent English.
  4. Familiarity with SAP accounting systems and Microsoft packages.
  5. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently under pressure.
  6. Relevant treasury settlement working experience.
