Treasury Settlement Officer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Settlement Officer to join our team at People First. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our treasury functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and journal book treasury functions on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Work closely with the Treasury Team Leader to develop and implement treasury strategies, ensuring all duties are performed in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Produce company payment documents and bank notices in SAP, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and record daily FX transactions, updating FX sheets and producing payment documents as required.
  • Conduct ad-hoc monthly treasury analysis, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as reasonably assigned, including back-up for the role of Treasury Officer.
Requirements:
  • Degree-level education or equivalent qualification.
  • Accounting profession qualification desirable (e.g. ACCA or ACA, CIMA).
  • Mandarin to native level, with fluent English.
  • Familiarity with SAP accounting systems and Microsoft packages.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Relevant treasury settlement working experience.
