Digital Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at FX Digital. As a key member of our QA team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products.
Key Responsibilities- Test Life Cycle Management: Involved throughout the full test life cycle, including requirement analysis, test case planning and definition, test execution, defect capture and reporting.
- Quality Assurance Processes: Enforce and uphold the quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Quality Control: Hold yourself and colleagues accountable for the standard of work that is released, ensuring it meets both aesthetic and functional requirements.
- Documentation: Thorough documentation of test plans and test cases and the maintenance of these.
- Bug Reporting: Report and prioritise bugs and issues raised in a variety of channels.
- Communication: Proactively and clearly communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Automation: Work with Junior and Senior QAs to contribute towards implementing broader automation coverage across current and future projects.
- Team Development: Assist with the personal development of more junior members of the QA team.
- Requirement Analysis: Conduct requirement analysis to ensure accurate understanding of project requirements.
- Technical Skills: Good understanding of HTML and CSS, knowledge of APIs, testing of them and related tools.
- Soft Skills: Excellent time-management and organisational skills, excellent analytical skills and eye for detail, able to effectively communicate, written and verbally, to all levels within the business.
- Experience: 3+ years of relevant professional experience of working in a wider team with multiple concurrent projects, relevant work experience with OTT apps (Connected Devices/Smart TV).
- Tools and Technologies: Experience with version control and workflows and relevant tools, knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle, experience with issue tracking tools such as Jira, experience using software debugging tools (e.g. web inspector).
