PDA Search and Selection Ltd is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic National Catering Manager to join their team in a field-based capacity. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day catering operations for tourist destination sites across the UK. We are looking for a professional who can drive the strategy behind the catering proposition and elevate service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the supply chain, including contract negotiations and management to ensure a seamless supply of goods.
  • Ensure operations run smoothly and in compliance with industry standards and regulations, monitoring performance of each site and developing and implementing timely action plans to enhance performance across your area of responsibility.
  • Directly drive profitability through strategic operational management.
  • Lead and manage Food Service Managers (FSMs) on a national level, providing guidance and support to achieve company goals.
  • Implement and promote Health and Safety initiatives, ensuring your team is well-informed and adheres to Food Policies, including considerations for cultural, religious, and ethnic requirements, as well as allergies and special diets.

Requirements:

  • Experience within a similar role, catering operations manager, or a national role.
  • Understanding of catering operations and compliance standards.
  • Previous experience of managing multi-site catering, minimum 10 sites.
  • Trained to Intermediate Food Hygiene level.
  • Full driving license.
  • Comfortable with a field-based role – visiting sites across the UK.
