Supporting Children and Adults with Complex Disabilities

We are looking for Support Workers / Intervenors to join our Intervenor Service in North London, working mainly in Watford.

Our team provides 1:1 support to children and adults who have been born with sight and hearing impairments – known as congenital Deafblindness.

As an Intervenor, you will promote personal and social development while encouraging independence through enabling access to activities. You will receive specialist training in how to support individuals that have dual-sensory impairments, often combined with other disabilities.

It is essential for you to have a full UK license with the use of your own vehicle.

Our current openings are for bank/relief Intervenors, with the possibility of permanent roles where required across the service. The following hours are available in North London, but may be subject to change.

These hours may include supporting a young child with specific needs, requiring 4 hours per week at the weekend and during the school holidays in the Watford area.

This role may include supporting people with day-to-day activities, enabling an independent lifestyle, and accessing a variety of activities based on their sensory needs, communication preferences, and interests.
