Adecco UK Limited is seeking an EH&S Specialist to cover a maternity leave for a 9-month assignment. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the EH&S management system to meet business objectives and maintain the license to operate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement detailed EH&S programs, utilizing the EH&S work process, standards, and procedures.
  • Ensure Environmental, IH, and Health and Safety aspects of operating discipline are adequate and applied to achieve EH&S performance goals.
  • Act as the Plant resource for related EH&S information on procedures, guidelines, and standards.
  • Serve as plant contact for Environmental, IH, and Health and Safety issues.
  • Coach teams and individuals on EH&S related tasks and activities.
  • Assist in developing and achieving area or plant EH&S goals.
  • Ensure compliance tasks are completed.
  • Perform/coordinate certain Environmental, and IH monitoring, data collection, analyzing, and reporting for the Plant.
  • Support Environmental, IH, and Health and Safety aspects of plant turnarounds.

Experience in a manufacturing and/or chemical environment in EH&S, operations, maintenance, or other related experience is preferred. Professional EHS CPD, including IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent, would be beneficial.
