Class 1 Heavy Recovery Vehicle Operator

No two days are the same here at ASK. Our work varies thanks to our large customer base including local government authorities.

We are looking for hard working and self-motivated individuals with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

This role with be based from our Barry location. Working days would be Monday - Friday 8:30-17:00 with every 3rd night and weekend on call.

Other assigned duties during down time will be required

Rate of Pay is dependent on experience and this will be discussed at the interview stage.

The successful applicant will require a valid CPC and the ability to pass Police Vetting.

'''Qualifications'''
- Valid driver's license
- Commercial driver's license (CDL) appropriate for the types of vehicles being operated (max of 6 points)
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Basic mechanical knowledge is desired but not essential.
- Ability to operate a heavy recovery truck is preferred but not required
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines and ETA’s
- Ability to adapted to changes quickly
- Strong communication skills

**Salary**: £15.00-£17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
