Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Maintenance Specialist to join our team at EMCOR UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

About the Role:

As a Data Centre Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting and delivering a professional and efficient service on our large-scale account for AWE. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring, maintaining, investigating, and acknowledging BMS and SCADA systems.
  • Performing daily site checks to identify and proactively repair defects, ensuring plant rooms are clean, tidy, and safe.
  • Rectifying and recording defects to meet SLA timeframes.
  • Reviewing subcontractor competencies before authorizing work permits.
  • Ensuring compliance with site procedures, health and safety, and security protocols.
  • Providing innovative solutions and recommendations to improve processes, building, plant, and systems.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical knowledge and experience.
  • Familiarity with generators, cooling systems, and UPS systems, as well as awareness of site criticality and work risks.
  • A served technical apprenticeship and a technical qualification (C&G, HNC, ONC etc).
  • 18th Edition, 2391 Test & Inspect, and understanding of LV distribution systems.
  • Critical site experience or data centre experience is highly desirable.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus onsite allowances. In addition to a generous package, we provide:
