Primate Animal Husbandry Position

The Association Of Zoos & Aquariums is currently recruiting for a Primate Animal Husbandry Position within our Primate/South America Department. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced team to provide top-notch animal care and contribute to the conservation of primate species.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily animal care activities, ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare.
- Collaborate with veterinarians and other animal care specialists to develop and implement animal enrichment programs.
- Maintain accurate records of animal behavior, habitat modifications, and veterinary treatments.
- Develop and deliver educational programs for visitors on primate behavior, conservation, and welfare.
- Participate in zoo events and presentations to promote awareness about animal conservation.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our Association. The estimated salary for this position is GBP 10,000 - 40,000 per year.
