About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at Royal Mail Group. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a range of inspections, diagnostic, maintenance, and repair procedures on a variety of vehicles, trailers, and mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on light and heavy goods vehicles
  • Use personal toolkit to undertake standard repairs
  • Access specialist tooling and shared equipment in our modern, fully equipped workshops
  • Work on a flexible shift rota, including rotating shifts and occasional weekends
Requirements
  • IMI Level 3 qualified mechanic with experience working on a wide range of vehicles
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • High working standards and ability to work independently
  • Flexible to service demands and willing to support the team
