Job Title: HGV Technician

We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team at MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd. As a key member of our depot in Gateshead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret job cards and repair orders to ensure accurate and efficient repairs
  • Attend training sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest technical information
  • Accurately record work done and tests carried out, including reporting any further work required or vehicle faults
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area
  • Provide information and maintain records in an accurate and efficient manner
  • Enhance the company's image and reputation while supporting its commercial interests
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with HGVs, ideally in a workshop environment
  • Ability to work well as part of a small team and communicate effectively
  • Capacity to take on a variety of workloads, planned or otherwise
